The Kress Cinema and Lounge is Greeley's first independent art film theater, combined with a full-service bar to provide both film viewers and bar patrons high-quality beverages, snacks, and hors d'oeuvres. Located in downtown Greeley in the historically renovated Kress Building, the theater takes advantage of the high, decorative plaster ceilings to create a large viewing space with historic ambiance.

The Kress is a truly unique experience for every customer, with our comfortable theater, full-service bar, and intimate seating areas. Customers can order from a bar menu, and dine while watching a movie. The theater programming is diverse, with foreign, classic, cult, and alternate content, complementing major holidays and local events. The full bar and restaurant serves the audience before and after shows, and is open nightly to bar patrons, whether viewing the film or not.

The Kress Cinema is equipped with a digital projector, a 35mm projector, a certified surround-sound system, and a screen approximately 20 feet wide. With high-quality digital projection, in combination with the traditional 35mm format, The Kress Cinema screens movies from classics to cult, exhibiting the best in art, foreign, and independent films.
