Sonia joined Emerging Pictures in 2008, as the company was launching its new Opera in Cinema series. She is now responsible for programming the opera and ballet series that Emerging Pictures distributes worldwide.

An award winning Mezzo Soprano, Sonia performed a variety of lead roles several productions in Opera houses throughout France and Germany .Her "home" stage was the Opera du Rhin in Strasbourg. During her career, she recorded 10 CDs, including one with Bolshoi Percussionists Ensemble, Moscow, Russia. Four of these CDs received national awards. Sonia also served on numerous music jury panels in Paris.

She also served as a Public Relations consultant for the Opera of Tours in France coordinating numerous events, hosting journalists and participating to radio shows

After coming to the United States, Sonia worked as a Music Theory and French teacher and as a public relations and branding consultant.
